-Shadowed form. With merely a second's concentration, Whitman is capable of making his clothes and any other small items on his person vanish and be replaced by a solid black costume. The outfit is one seamless piece of cloth that can only be removed by Whitman's mental command to revert to his original form. Where the mass of his clothes and belongings are shunted to during the transformation is unknown at this time.
-Magic Sword. While in his Shadowed form, Whitman is in possession of an enchanted broadsword which is carried in a sheath on his back. The sword, like Whitman, has been a recipient of the Spell of Shadows, thus its capabilities believed to be beyond those of a normal blade. The weapon and its sheath are strangely resistant to normal wear and tear and are quite possibly indestructable. The location of the sword while Whitman is in his original form is currently unknown.
-Enhanced Abilities. So far, Whitman has been noticing a slight increase in all of his abilities, both physical and mental. The increase seems to be based upon the effort Whitman puts forth with an attribute. Thus if Whitman spent several hours studying physics, his retention and understanding of scientific formulas could be considerably better than the average scholar in the field.
-Communication Sphere. Shortly after being granted his powers, Whitman was entrusted with a crystal sphere roughly the size of a golfball. A magic spell is on the orb that allows it to send and receive auditory stimuli to and from an identical sphere held by Robert Thompson. The sphere is very durable and is uneffected by Whitman's transformation.
-Corrected Vision. Before being given his powers, Whitwan was near-sighted and had to wear corrective lenses to see clearly. Now his vision is back at 20/20. He still wears glasses out of habit, though the lenses do not impair his vision in the least.
Quiet and reserved are words in the dictionary with Whitman's picture next to them. While not a total social outcast, he is often all business when it comes to dealing with other people. He says little about himself and often has a sad expression on his face when referring to his past. Any mention of the World Management Committee brings a sour remark that comes out just under Whitman's breath. His best friend is Robert Thompson who he has known since they were young.
