As one of the highest ranking human mages on Neddel, Turoth commands great metaphysical power. However, since human magic is very limited in the sphere of combat, Turoth is restricted to spells rooted in divination and utility magic. If forced into a confrontation, Turoth does possess enough offensive sorcery to defend himself against most mundane attackers. Otherwise, Turoth possesses the same physical and mental capacity of a normal human male of his age, weight, and build who engages in very moderate exercise.

History

Turoth is a member of the Spirits, Neddel's human arch-mages. He has been among the wizards for over two decades and is currently one of their most influencial and charismatic members.

It was several years earlier when the first portal to Earth opened that Turoth envisioned a new age for human spell-casters. One in which wizards could finally find a place to escape from the persecution of the Neddel's mundane population. Shortly before the portal closed, Turoth had been the first to discover that the gateway had existed due to a minor collision between Earth and Neddel's respective realms. Furthermore, he found that another, more devastating, collision was not only likely, but imminent. Since then, Turoth and the other Spirits have been struggling to find a way to avert the crisis. Yet all they met with were four straight years of failure.

One day, while working in the main study of the Spirits' library, a new portal opened. All Turoth could tell at the time was that this portal was less stable than the first, and if anything were to be gleaned from it, he would have to act swiftly. Thus he charged through to discover himself on Earth and in the presense of David Whitman and Robert Thompson. Knowing that the cataclysm was originating somewhere on Earth, Turoth decided to convince the other Spirits to cast the Spell of the Shadows upon the two men from Earth.

Now while Thompson and Whitman make a last ditch effort to protect the universe on Earth, Turoth and his peers continue to work on their side of Creation for a solution to the danger facing the Realms.
